1825 Baer Survey for Rotch Heirs
Surveyor David Baer drew a series of maps in 1825 for the heirs of Thomas Rotch detailing the lands passed to them at the death of Charity Rotch in 1824. Baer's detailed maps are an indispensable tool for researchers as they denote the physical location of many features discussed in historical accounts of Kendal and vicinity.
